Who's Kristina anyways?

Hi, I'm Kristina.

I'm a psychic, witch, and starseed, and the person behind Stardust Metaphysical, based in Whitehorse, Yukon. I've worked with tarot for over 20 years and I'm internationally certified in Psychic Healing and Psychic Reading, with my Akashic Records certification underway.

My Journey

I always knew I was different, and school made sure I knew it. Being "weird" and extra sensitive will do that.

As a little girl, I'd look up at the stars and feel homesick for a place I'd never been. Years later, I understood why: I'm a starseed. A starseed is a soul that originated somewhere beyond Earth, whether another star system, planet, or dimension, and chose to incarnate here, often to help the planet and its people evolve. Many starseeds grow up feeling out of place, overly sensitive, or homesick for somewhere they can't quite name. That was me.

I rebelled against my Catholic upbringing, and by 13 I was looking for answers wherever I could find them. At my French Catholic high school, the only book on the subject was called White Magic, so that's where I started. At 16, I got my first tarot and oracle decks.

This was before Google. I had books, and exactly one tarot reader near my hometown. When I moved to Ottawa for school, everything opened up: more information, people who finally got it, and then the internet took off. Even so, the witch was still a misunderstood path, and Hollywood kept painting her as evil and dark. It didn't feel safe to be open about who I was, so I only talked about it with people I'd gotten to know and trusted to be open-minded.

Then COVID hit. With everyone stuck at home and finally looking inward, I watched people start asking the questions I'd been asking my whole life. Modern spirituality had its big moment, and for the first time, I felt a real shift in how people saw this path. A flood of influencers and information followed, and it got overwhelming, muddy, and full of contradictions. I get asked about it all the time. Since I've been walking this path long before the boom, I can tell you what's authentic and what's not.

The people closest to me knew, but plenty of people who had known me for years had no idea about this side of my life until after COVID, and some only found out once I started reading cards professionally. Not long after, I began my traineeship. It feels like the path I've been meant to walk since I was that little girl looking up at the stars.

Home in the Yukon

I used to be very nomadic, never staying anywhere long enough to call it home. Then I moved to the Yukon, and it felt like home right away. I've been here for over a decade now.

Whitehorse is called the Wilderness City, and it earns the name. Surrounded by mountains and wild land, under enormous skies full of stars and northern lights, you live within nature instead of beside it. You come to live along her cycles and get familiar with her beats, like noticing what the animals are doing at different times of the year. You also stay very aware of how we treat the earth and how she supports us in return. The people here are resilient, and the energy of this place is something I absorb every day. It's the energy I bring into my sessions: grounded, honest, and real.

Why Stardust?

The name comes from a simple idea: every atom in your body was forged in a star. You are made of stardust. I think of magic as science we haven't figured out how to measure yet, and that's the lens I bring to every session.
